The role of Application Engineer at Baker Hughes is strategically positioned within the North America Offshore Drill Bits organization. The Application Engineer works closely with Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to optimize drill bit selection, support field execution, and contribute to the development and launch of new products.

Key responsibilities include delivering post-sales technical support such as performance reviews and run analysis, approving drill bit repairs to ensure compliance with technical standards, and documentation of technical findings to enhance stakeholder communication. The role is also customer-centric, focusing on fostering strong relationships through professional communication and high-quality service. With a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, including potential field or customer site visits, this position balances structured work hours with dynamic, situational engagements.
