Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of restaurant operations experience
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
  • Completion of Responsible Alcohol and Food Safety Service certification within 90 days of hire
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Adherence to company policies and legal regulations

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of progressively responsible related restaurant operations experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Responsible Alcohol and Food Safety Service certification within 90 days of start
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work without supervision
  • Knowledge to perform all positions within the restaurant
  • Proficiency with office equipment and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet, PowerPoint and Access
  • Experience with POS systems required
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information
  • Ability to read and interpret operational documents
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to solve practical problems and manage stress

Job Duties

  • Assist in general management of fine dining operations including monitoring and improving daily operations, monitoring budgets, establishing and analyzing reports, anticipating needs of guests and team members, conducting duties of the manager in their absence
  • Oversee fine dining area ensuring guests are greeted and assisted properly, support venue concepts, recommend venue promotions, maintain menu and product knowledge, ensure a positive environment for guests and team members
  • Assist management in developing initiatives to increase sales, control costs and manage inventories appropriately
  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with company policies and laws including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, appraising performance and resolving complaints
  • Maintain professional working relationships with team members fostering a cooperative and harmonious environment
  • Remain knowledgeable of industry changes, trends and products to enhance guest service and increase savings
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary and organized work environment
  • Resolve difficult guest situations professionally and calmly
  • Ensure efficient scheduling to meet business demands
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and service to all guests
  • Maintain knowledge of venue equipment, products and standards
  • Ensure compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures and regulations
