About the Role:
The Doughnutation (Sanitation) team plays a crucial role behind the scenes, ensuring that each Pinkbox Doughnuts location operates smoothly and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. As a vital member of this team, you will be responsible for keeping the back-of-house areas spotless and sanitized throughout the day, contributing directly to a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role is essential for preserving the integrity of food preparation areas and supporting the overall success and reputation of Pinkbox Doughnuts. You will engage in various cleaning and sanitation tasks, utilizing approved chemicals, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance and safety.
Working in this role means being part of a fast-paced, upbeat environment where teamwork and attention to detail are highly valued. The position typically involves an average 8-hour shift, including weekends and holidays, with the possibility of working at locations that operate round-the-clock. Job Requirements
- Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift
- bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- ability to multitask and remain positive in busy working conditions
- janitors can expect to work an 8-hour shift on average, including weekends and holidays
- exposure to cleaning chemicals
- comply with brand and company uniform and hygiene policies
Job Qualifications
- Prior janitorial experience preferred but not required
- must have a county food handler’s card
- legally able to work within state and federal guidelines
Job Duties
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash, and clean debris from counters, display cases, and floors
- clean prep areas, walls, and storage racks
- pick up loose trash in all areas and dispose of it properly
- clean drains, dishwashing machines, ovens, walk-in coolers, fryers, and other equipment as required
- clean restrooms using approved chemicals and empty trash
- comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
- perform additional tasks as requested by management and as needed to support the shop
