Job Description
Doubletree Hotel Los Angeles Norwalk is a vibrant and welcoming hotel located just six miles from Knott's Berry Farm Amusement Park, providing guests with a convenient and comfortable stay in Southern California. This hotel boasts numerous amenities such as an outdoor pool, hot tub, and gym, ensuring relaxation and recreation for visitors. Guests enjoy spacious rooms equipped with 32-inch flat-screen TVs with cable and video games, Wi-Fi access, seating areas, desks, coffee makers, and ironing facilities. The hotel also offers an on-site restaurant and bar featuring Italian and American cuisine along with business centers and meeting rooms, making it an ideal destination for both leisure and business travelers.
Joining our housekeeping team at the Doubletree Hotel Los Angeles Norwalk means becoming an integral part of a friendly and dedicated team that ensures every guest experiences comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service from the moment they step through the doors. The role of a Housekeeper in our hotel is critical; you are the heartbeat of our establishment and the secret ingredient behind every sparkling guest experience. As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel, transforming guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, public restrooms, and other common areas into spotless havens that guests look forward to coming back to.
This position involves a variety of daily tasks, including freshening up beds with crisp linens, restocking supplies, and performing deep cleaning duties such as swapping air conditioning filters and painting when needed. The housekeeping role goes beyond just cleaning; it encompasses delivering friendly and helpful customer service, ensuring guest happiness, and embodying the warm and welcoming spirit the Doubletree brand is known for. Safety is also a top priority, as housekeepers act as the hotel's guardians by keeping an eye on sensitive spots and practicing safe work habits to guarantee a safe environment for both guests and staff.
We understand that teamwork and communication are vital to success in this position. You will interact regularly with other team members and guests, requiring strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. Whether you are assisting guests with their needs or collaborating with your colleagues to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, your contribution will significantly impact the overall guest experience.
This role may begin as part-time or full-time with competitive pay, including the exciting option of daily pay after an initial waiting period. Additionally, employees who transition into full-time positions have access to a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, term life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan.
We invite individuals who take pride in making spaces shine, enjoy working in a team environment, and have a passion for guest service to apply. If you thrive on creating immaculate environments and genuine guest connections, a housekeeper position at the Doubletree Hotel Los Angeles Norwalk could be your perfect next career step.
