Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year experience in sales management or related roles
- professional selling skills
- experience with internet research and database mining
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals
- monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment
- adhere to company regulations, standards, and sales metrics
- develop a full working knowledge of hotel operations and policies
- follow proper event management procedures including BEO creation, F&B forecasting, resume communication, and room block management
- accurately produce and review catering contracts and banquet event orders
- identify and respond to customer needs
- prospect for new business using a variety of tools
- weigh the value of each business opportunity at revenue management meetings
- negotiate room rates and function space for financial optimization
- utilize revenue management resources for informed decision making
- analyze trends and pricing impact on occupancy and revenue
- understand sales strategies of competitor hotels and leverage hotel strengths
- seek process improvements and enhance sales systems
- respond to all leads and RFPs within 24 hours
- maintain accurate internal communication
- conduct site inspections, local sales calls, and attend trade shows
- promote hotel through community and business networking involvement
- maintain strong visibility in local industry organizations
- attend all required meetings and functions
- perform other duties as assigned by management
