Job Requirements
- Possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license
- DOT certification for delivery driver position
- ability to pass background check
- successful completion of MVR screening if applicable
- ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- ability to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- ability to cross state lines for deliveries as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- two to three years of related experience or training
- knowledge of shipping, receiving, and material handling
- HVAC/R experience preferred
- customer service and sales experience preferred
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- good listening skills
- ability to type 30-50 wpm and operate a computer
- proficiency with 10 key or calculator
- organized and able to prioritize work
- able to meet deadlines
- able to handle multiple tasks
- forklift operation skills
Job Duties
- Delivers orders to customers in a professional and timely manner
- receives in daily rush orders and weekly corporate and Tigard orders
- checks stage on orders
- puts away stock in warehouse and pulls will-call orders for customer pickup
- maintains bin locations
- processes ship-outs from the branch
- processes all warranty and returns and verifies paperwork
- prepares warranty and returns for shipment to Tigard branch or vendor
- orders and returns compressed gas tanks as needed
- cleans and straightens the warehouse daily
- works well as a team player
- follows all company policies and store standards
