The position involves a variety of daily tasks, including greeting guests with genuine friendliness, assisting with luggage, managing the flow of vehicular traffic at the entrance, and coordinating seamlessly with other hotel departments such as the Bell Desk and Front Office.
Beyond these practical duties, the Doorperson represents the hotel's brand and reputation through a professionally courteous and confident presence. This role requires someone who can remain alert, calm, and responsive in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction at all times. The position is hourly paid at $10.00, with the opportunity to earn additional tips, reflecting the importance of service quality and guest engagement. IHG Hotels & Resorts enriches the employee experience by offering comprehensive benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans like 401k, and extensive training programs. Employees also enjoy perks such as full uniform provisions and attractive room discounts, supporting their well-being and professional growth.
