Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work evenings from 7pm to approximately 9pm Sunday through Thursday
- Reliable transportation to reach assigned communities
- Physical capability to climb stairs and lift trash bags safely
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain hygiene standards
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have a flexible schedule for part-time evening shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in waste collection or similar physical outdoor work is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and responsibility
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices
Job Duties
- Collect bagged household trash and recyclables from residents' doorsteps
- Transport waste to the community's onsite compactor or dumpster
- Ensure the compactor or dumpster area is kept clean and tidy
- Follow safety protocols when handling and disposing of waste
- Climb stairs and navigate community walkways to complete collection routes
- Work independently during scheduled shifts
- Report any maintenance issues or unusual findings to supervisors
