Job Description

QED Hospitality is a distinguished restaurant operations management group that specializes in managing Food & Beverage operations within boutique hotels and exclusive sites on a national level. Known for its deep operational expertise, QED Hospitality excels in developing and overseeing unique restaurant concepts that are thoughtfully tailored to the specific hotel, regional culture, and market demands. Unlike standardized or cookie-cutter dining establishments, their restaurants are authentic representations of the regions they inhabit, drawing from rich local history and culinary traditions to offer guests a truly immersive dining experience. Their dedication to quality and regional authenticity sets them apart in the hospitality industry, making them a sought-after partner for boutique hotels looking to provide exceptional food and beverage services.

The role of the host at QED Hospitality goes far beyond the traditional responsibilities of seating guests. Serving as the control center of the restaurant, the host station is the vital first point of contact for all patrons. It is an ideal role for individuals eager to develop strong organizational and communication skills while gaining comprehensive insight into the dynamics of restaurant operations. A successful host at QED Hospitality exemplifies kindness, respect, and warmth, not only to guests but also in supporting staff to ensure seamless and balanced service flow. The host must skillfully manage operations such as greeting guests promptly, handling reservations and waitlists, and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to guarantee a smooth dining experience.

This position is well suited for individuals passionate about customer service, capable of multitasking under pressure, and enthusiastic about learning the intricacies of restaurant management. The ability to maintain composure, display grace under pressure, and cultivate a welcoming atmosphere is essential. Working as a host with QED Hospitality provides an opportunity to become an integral part of a team focused on creating positive guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service. The company values professionalism, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach, seeking those who can thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Employment with QED Hospitality in this role typically requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of a bustling hospitality environment.

Overall, joining QED Hospitality as a host means becoming part of a nationally recognized group committed to excellence in boutique hotel dining.
