The position available is for a Door Greeter who will serve as the first welcoming face of the Beverly Wilshire experience. The Door Greeter plays a crucial role in shaping the guest experience by offering superior customer service, quick responsiveness, and expert knowledge of the hotel and surrounding area. Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain professional and courteous in high-pressure situations
- knowledge of local area and attractions is an asset
- ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- fluency in English, additional languages is a plus
Job Duties
- respond to resident support needs with the highest level of timeliness, hospitality and professionalism
- ensure timely and quality-driven completion of service request
- greet and assist guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo
- assist them exiting from cars
- issue appropriate valet parking ticket to guests
- give verbal greeting to guests arriving on foot
- unload items from car, tag it and issue claim tickets when appropriate
- assist to deliver items to the unit
- assure the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing cars and direct valet parkers to park cars
- ensure the drive is a one-way only, do not permit unauthorized vehicles to pull into the entrance drive way
- provide directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions
- hail taxis as needed
- resolve owner complaints, assist in all inquiries in connection with services, hours of operations, key personnel, in-house events
