Employees at Mayo Clinic enjoy fulfilling careers supported by a culture of innovation, collaboration, and respect that nurtures both personal and professional success.
The Door Attendant role at Mayo Clinic plays a crucial part in facilitating a welcoming and secure environment for patients, guests, and staff. This position is primarily responsible for assisting individuals to and from their vehicles, courtesy shuttles, and taxis while maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor. Door Attendants provide mobility assistance, directions, and answer general inquiries ensuring an excellent first and last impression of the facility. This role demands direct interaction with diverse people, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills, adaptability to manage unpredictable or stressful situations, and the physical capability to recover wheelchairs and assist with traffic control for safety in drive-up lanes.
This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $26.44 with eligibility for comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. The working schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM without weekend shifts but includes a shift differential. The role is nonexempt and vital for maintaining smooth and safe operations around Mayo Clinic facilities while ensuring a positive experience for every visitor and patient.
