Four Seasons Hotel New York is currently looking for a Door Attendant dedicated to upholding the highest standards of service and creating welcoming, positive first impressions for every guest. This role is critical in maintaining the hotel's reputation by ensuring guests receive warm greetings and seamless assistance from the moment they arrive. The Door Attendant will manage guest luggage, assist with transportation needs including taxis, limousines, and private cars, and offer helpful information to guests and pedestrians. In addition, the Door Attendant will control traffic flow in their designated service areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
The position demands professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication skills, alongside a good knowledge of the Manhattan location. Prior experience in a similar role is essential, coupled with the physical ability to handle heavy objects and withstand various weather conditions. Flexibility with working hours is also required, as this role includes shifts in the early mornings, evenings, and overnight.
