Job Requirements
- Age requirement 18 years or older
- food handler's permit (can be obtained after hiring)
- availability between 2:00am-10:00am any day including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand, walk, twist, sit, and bend for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- manual dexterity to handle small objects and operate equipment
- repetitive use of hands and arms to push, pull, carry, lift, reach, grip, and balance
- occasional stooping, crouching, kneeling or crawling
- prolonged periods of standing and walking
- must be able to access and navigate all areas of the store
- lifting from floor to shoulder and overhead repeatedly
- occasional climbing on step stools or ladders
- ability to operate commercial mixers, pallet jacks, fryers, ovens, slicers, wrapping machines, scales, sheeters, and related kitchen equipment
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or guest service experience preferred.

Job Duties
- Help with the production, frying, decorating, packaging, and maintenance of donuts according to recipes and quality standards
- assist in displaying and restocking donut products ensuring shelves and cases are filled, fresh, rotated, faced, and cleaned
- maintain accurate food inventories
- maintain training and certification through in-person and digital platforms
- process and complete orders digitally and in person
- greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- provide knowledgeable answers to guest inquiries
- promote a high level of morale within the department and store
- acknowledge guests promptly and process orders accurately and efficiently
- demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills resolving guest issues
- assist customers with the use of the Lee's Marketplace website
- stock shelves and maintain displays according to store standards
- ensure product freshness by following recipe guidelines and proper rotation
- maintain accuracy and punctuality in special orders
- package and label products using computer programs
- maintain proper freshness, pricing, code dating, tare, and merchandising compliance
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- report safety hazards or equipment issues to management
- adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- participate in cleaning responsibilities
- operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- follow store policies on returns, exchanges, and refunds
- ensure security of cash and financial transactions
- work cooperatively with team members to achieve store goals
- participate in team meetings and training sessions
- assist other departments as needed
- work in a fast-paced production and sales environment with tact and patience
- ensure products are sold before expiration
- attend meetings and contribute to profits and productivity standards
- comply with company policies, promote a harassment-free environment, report harmful situations to management.
