As a member of the Human Resources Department, the Donations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in sustaining these company values by managing the charitable donation program and enhancing employee engagement. This role involves overseeing the coordination of in-kind donations including food and merchandise alongside monetary sponsorships. The Donations Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing comprehensive employee recognition initiatives, which include celebrating milestones such as birthdays and holidays, organizing appreciation events, and facilitating communication regarding employee assistance programs and other benefits.
The Donations Coordinator also collaborates closely with the HR team, providing critical administrative support including onboarding new hires and conducting orientations to ensure smooth integration into the company culture. This position demands excellent organizational skills, an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Beyond administrative duties, the role supports fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace environment by coordinating engagement events that boost morale and strengthen team connections.

Job Requirements

- previous work experience focused on planning and coordination
- basic knowledge of administrative and HR office functions
- able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- excellent organization and communication skills both written and verbal

Job Duties
- Oversee charitable donations program coordinating in-kind donations of food and merchandise and monetary sponsorships
- plan and execute employee recognition programs including manager birthday celebrations employee birthday and holiday gift distribution and employee appreciation events
- facilitate communication strategies for employee assistance program features and athletic registration entry opportunities
- spearhead employee engagement event coordination and communication
- assist in the onboarding process for new hires
- coordinate and conduct new hire orientations
- maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- support the Human Resources department in facilitating and directing employee inquiries on perks policies and concerns
- perform other related duties as assigned
