Job Description

Regal Cinemas is one of the leading movie theater chains known for delivering an exceptional entertainment experience to moviegoers across the nation. With a focus on combining state-of-the-art technology, comfortable seating, and a welcoming atmosphere, Regal prides itself on providing more than just a movie viewing — it offers a complete outing that customers can enjoy with friends and family. Regal's team members play an essential role in ensuring that every customer's visit is memorable by providing outstanding service and maintaining a clean, friendly environment.

The bartender position at Regal Cinemas is an integral role within the theater team, responsible for the preparation and service of alcoholic beverages while upholding the company’s commitment to fast, friendly, and professional guest service. This opportunity is available as a variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly position depending on the theater's needs and employee availability. The hourly wage for this role is $17.50, offering a promising rate for both new and experienced individuals seeking to work in an exciting hospitality environment. In addition to competitive pay, team members enjoy perks such as free movie passes, discounted concessions at all Regal locations, and access to a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching after meeting eligibility requirements.

As a bartender at Regal Cinemas, you will be responsible for expertly mixing and serving alcoholic drinks according to company standards and local laws. This entails obtaining and maintaining all necessary permits, certifications, and completing required trainings, including Regal Responsible Beverage Server training. The role demands a strong knowledge of alcohol service laws, handling monetary transactions accurately, promoting ongoing promotions like the Crown Club Program, and ensuring all operational procedures related to opening, closing, and clean-up are followed meticulously.

This position requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to engage with guests positively, contributing to an inviting atmosphere that fosters customer satisfaction and loyalty. The bartender also plays a key role in maintaining safety by adhering to emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures, and strictly enforcing policies around counterfeit bills, food safety, and dress code compliance. Team members work collaboratively with co-workers and management, demonstrating professionalism and responsibility in managing cash drawers and inventory.

Candidates for this position should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (or currently be a high school student), with a willingness to complete the company’s certification programs and state or local legally mandated training. Strong communication skills, public speaking ability, and effective listening are vital, alongside math skills to handle transactions accurately and reasoning skills for problem-solving under pressure. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 60 pounds, making stamina and physical resilience important.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and entertainment who want to work in a dynamic team environment where every day offers new challenges and opportunities to provide memorable guest experiences. Whether you are a student seeking part-time work or someone eager to build a career in a thriving industry, becoming a bartender at Regal Cinemas presents a rewarding opportunity to grow professionally while enjoying the fun and energy of the movie theater environment.
