Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent if not currently a student
  • Completion or progress towards cast certification program
  • Completion or progress towards Food Safety ROU Course
  • Ability to perform public speaking and respond clearly
  • Ability to perform calculations accurately and quickly
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, talk, hear
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception
  • Compliance with safety and sanitation procedures
  • Adherence to dress code
  • Regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion or progress towards completion of the cast certification program

Job Duties

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Preparing designated menu items using approved recipes, portions and plate presentations
  • Basic understanding of controlling food costs and how demand impacts costs
  • Operating, preparing and cleaning all food preparation equipment, prep stations, and kitchen areas
  • Proper use of cleaning materials
  • Ensuring proper inventory rotation through FIFO method
  • Proper use of storerooms
  • Knowledge of kitchen opening, closing and in-between show procedures
  • Knowledge of emergency, evacuation and robbery procedures
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation laws
  • Compliance with dress code
  • Abide by federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods
  • Completion or progress towards cast certification
  • Understanding training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination
