The role of Service Valet at Dolan Auto Group plays a vital part in maintaining high standards of service within the automotive industry. This position is focused on delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring a seamless customer experience by managing the cleanliness and organization of service areas and handling vehicles responsibly throughout the service process. As a member of the service customer support team, the Service Valet is the first point of contact for guests arriving for their vehicle service and must exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude at all times.

Key responsibilities for this role include preparing vehicles for service by installing paper floor mats and moving vehicles forward on the service drive. The Service Valet must park vehicles in designated customer parking areas, ensure vehicle keys are properly managed and documented, and adhere strictly to safety protocols such as observing speed limits and driving cautiously. Additionally, the valet is responsible for assisting customers by delivering vehicles to various Dolan Auto Group locations or vendors and shuttling customers to and from their homes or work. Beyond customer interaction, duties extend to maintaining the cleanliness of the service drive, parking areas, shuttle vans, and shop equipment.

The position demands physical capability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions such as squatting, kneeling, and bending, and lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds. The Service Valet will often work in varied weather conditions, sometimes experiencing extreme temperatures, and must be adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly dependable, with a valid driver's license, and will demonstrate excellent communication skills to connect customers with advisors or drive managers when questions arise.
