The role we are looking to fill is that of a Print Buyer, a dynamic position requiring a high-energy professional who is relentless in their pursuit of quality, deadlines, and budget fidelity. Unlike typical desk jobs, this role demands a hands-on approach with an expectation to be onsite at least three days a week to engage directly with clients and oversee print projects. The Print Buyer will manage production and vendor relations for high-volume commercial print projects that range from extensive direct mail campaigns to large-scale custom installations such as building wraps.
As a key member of an international team, the Print Buyer must be capable of working independently in a hybrid work environment, bridging the gap between the creative team and external vendors to ensure flawless execution of deliverables. These deliverables could be as varied as brochures distributed to students or graphics installed on physical structures within corporate campuses. The Print Buyer is responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, adhere to budget constraints, and comply with stringent quality standards. This role involves managing the full spectrum of print purchasing activities—from soliciting competitive bids in the RFP process to overseeing the production lifecycle, conducting quality control and press checks, to managing logistics and financial integrity of each project. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possessing a "pitbull" mentality to anticipate issues before they arise and aggressively manage supplier relationships to keep projects on track. This is a critical role that directly contributes to the successful delivery of high-quality print materials and visual installations, supporting Xerox’s mission of making work efficient in the hybrid office landscape.
