Job Description

TForce Freight is a prominent less-than-truckload (LTL) freight carrier operating throughout North America. As a subsidiary of TFI International, the company is well-regarded for providing comprehensive transportation and logistics solutions tailored to a diverse range of freight shipments. These shipments include palletized goods and heavy LTL loads, ensuring fast, reliable, and safe delivery across regional, interregional, and long-haul distances. With over 178 service centers spread across the continent, TForce Freight also offers cross-border services supported by advanced tracking technology, allowing customers to monitor their freight in real-time with confidence and precision.

TForce Freight is currently inviting applications for the role of Dockworker Part-Time No CDL, offering a starting wage of $15.40 per hour. This position is integral to maintaining the seamless flow of goods through the company’s freight handling operations. Working within a dedicated, safety-conscious team, the Dockworker ensures that freight is loaded and unloaded efficiently and securely, preserving the integrity of every shipment from the moment it arrives until it is dispatched.

The Dockworker will operate a range of powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extending belts. They will also use yard tractors to maneuver vehicles safely, even within tight spaces, reflecting the company's commitment to operational excellence and safety. The role demands vigilance, a focus on safety protocols, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized dock environment. Responsibilities also include printing bills of lading (BOL) for daily deliveries, palletizing damaged merchandise, and maintaining dock equipment, all of which contribute to a smooth and efficient operation.

Ideal candidates will bring a positive customer-focused attitude and exceptional communication skills to the role, reinforcing TForce Freight’s dedication to superior service. Forklift operator certification is required, but no Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is necessary. Beyond technical skills, the company values individuals with strong organizational and time management skills who are committed to safety and teamwork. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to read, write, and speak English proficiently, and be authorized to work in the United States.

By joining TForce Freight, individuals become part of a growing and dynamic company that prioritizes employee welfare. The company offers competitive wages along with an attractive benefits package that includes pension plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid time off, and various other benefits designed to support personal and professional growth. For those seeking a rewarding career in freight and logistics with a company that values hard work, dedication, and safety, the Dockworker role at TForce Freight presents an excellent opportunity to thrive and advance.
