Job Description

TCI is a well-established family-owned logistics and delivery company that has been serving the Indianapolis area since 1978. Known for its dedication to safety, commitment to customers, and a positive workplace culture, TCI prides itself on creating a supportive environment where employees can thrive and grow in their careers. As a company rooted in strong core values such as ethics, accountability, and transparency, TCI brings innovative thinking to its operations and fosters a team-oriented atmosphere. This foundation has allowed TCI to maintain its longstanding reputation in the transportation and logistics industry, making it a preferred employer for professionals seeking stability, respect, and opportunities for advancement.

The available role of Dock Worker/Delivery Driver offers a unique hybrid position that combines important responsibilities on the warehouse dock with local delivery driving duties. This full-time, day shift role provides a stable schedule running Tuesday through Friday, starting at 5:00am, giving employees the balance of a consistent home daily routine and a competitive wage of $25 per hour. Employees in this role will be an essential part of the operations team, managing the loading and unloading of freight between the dock and box trucks, as well as performing multi-stop deliveries across various local locations.

The position requires proficiency in operating a box truck for deliveries and handling warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Given the hybrid nature of the job, this role demands both physical dexterity in touching and moving freight and skill behind the wheel to ensure timely and safe delivery to customers. TCI values experience specifically with box trucks and expects candidates to have at least 12 months of recent relevant driving experience, along with a satisfactory driving record to meet the company's safety insurance criteria.

In addition to competitive wages, TCI offers a robust benefits package that includes weekly paychecks with direct deposit options, medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, employer-paid life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and a 401k retirement savings plan with company match. Employees can also benefit from safety incentives that provide up to an additional $1,200 annually, paid holidays, earned time off, and an employee discount program through LifeMart.

Joining TCI means becoming part of a positive and passionate team that sees each day as an opportunity to contribute creatively and collaboratively. The company emphasizes a can-do attitude among its staff, encouraging innovative problem-solving and ongoing personal and professional development. Employees are welcomed into an ethical and accountable culture where their contributions are recognized and rewarded. If you have the driving experience, the commitment to safety, and the enthusiasm to be part of a longstanding and respected organization, TCI invites you to apply for this rewarding dock worker and delivery driver position.
