Focused on delivering exceptional service and fostering a positive community impact, the company is dedicated to operational excellence and sustainability. Greenway Waste & Recycling prides itself on cultivating a strong company culture where employees feel valued, empowered, and supported in their growth and development.
The company is currently seeking a District Service Manager to join its dynamic and expanding team. This full-time position offers a competitive annual compensation of $50,000 along with a company truck and benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. The role is designed for individuals who enjoy working independently in an active environment while managing valet trash service operations at assigned properties within the Clarksville/Nashville markets. The District Service Manager position provides ample opportunities for career advancement within a secure and rapidly growing company.
As a District Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing valet trash services across multiple community properties. This role requires a hands-on approach where you will work in the field and from home, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead valet porter teams, support waste collection efforts, and oversee vehicle maintenance. The nature of this job allows you to stay physically active while working outdoors. The service schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with some shifts potentially split between mornings, early afternoons, and evenings based on operational needs or team performance.
In this role, maintaining strong relationships with Greenway Waste customers and employees is essential. The District Service Manager will serve as a key point of contact, fostering open communication with management and team members. You will be responsible for assembling and labeling trash receptacles, ensuring accurate records and reports are kept, addressing any service violations, conducting training sessions, and implementing progressive discipline as needed. The position requires someone who is organized, reliable, and able to lead effective teams while holding employees accountable to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
Greenway Waste & Recycling values diversity and inclusion, emphasizing equal employment opportunities for all qualified applicants. The company is committed to creating a drug-free workplace and requires a clean driving record as part of the employment prerequisites. If you are motivated by the prospect of earning a great salary, working independently in a supportive environment, and maintaining physical fitness while contributing to community cleanliness, this position offers a rewarding career path with a reputable waste management organization.
