The role being offered is based in the Innovation Quarter located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This full-time position, with a pay range of $51.05 to $76.60 per hour, is eligible for benefits and requires a 40-hour work week. The position centers on programmatic event planning and placemaking efforts throughout the Innovation Districts. As a critical district ambassador and connector, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Advocate Health districts leadership team, university partners, tenants, community members, and ecosystem leaders to design and execute a variety of events and initiatives that foster community building and engagement. Responsibilities include surveying and working with local stakeholders to craft an annual calendar of events, curating outdoor activations, and developing strategic approaches to boost event participation and community awareness. The individual will lead all aspects of event design, coordination, and promotion, including managing volunteers and vendors. Financial duties involve creating and managing budgets, processing invoices, and securing funding sponsors to offset event costs. This role also entails aligning marketing efforts with Advocate Health's communications team to promote events and enhance the Innovation Quarter's brand. The position demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
