The District Porter position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of apartment communities by collecting bagged trash and recyclables directly from residents' doorsteps. District Porters transport collected waste to onsite compactors or dumpsters using an open-bed pickup truck while ensuring that designated areas remain neat and orderly. The position offers competitive compensation, including $150 per day with a slightly reduced rate of $125 per day for Friday and Saturday coverage. It is a W2 employment position, with pay issued bi-monthly via direct deposit. Applicants must have a valid bank account to facilitate payroll processing. The work schedule typically spans Sunday through Thursday from 7 pm to 2 am, and Fridays and Saturdays from 7 pm to 12 am, with a requirement to work at least two weekends per month.
