Job Description

Community Concierge Services (CCS) is a leading nationwide provider specializing in doorstep waste and recycling collection services tailored specifically for apartment communities. With a dedicated workforce of over 600 employees, CCS efficiently services more than 160,000 apartment units across the United States each night, ensuring that residents experience clean and well-maintained living environments. As a rapidly expanding company, Community Concierge Services prides itself on offering its team members excellent opportunities for career advancement, increased responsibilities, and additional work shifts based on individual performance and reliability. This growth-oriented approach fosters an environment where employees feel valued and motivated to excel.

Currently, CCS is seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as District Porters in the Greensboro, North Carolina area. This role is perfectly suited for candidates who take pride in their work, enjoy working independently, and seek supplemental income through a flexible evening schedule. The District Porter position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of apartment communities by collecting bagged trash and recyclables directly from residents' doorsteps. District Porters transport collected waste to onsite compactors or dumpsters using an open-bed pickup truck while ensuring that designated areas remain neat and orderly. The role requires professionalism and courteous interactions with community residents, contributing positively to the residents' living experience.

The position offers competitive compensation, including $150 per day with a slightly reduced rate of $125 per day for Friday and Saturday coverage. It is a W2 employment position, with pay issued bi-monthly via direct deposit. Applicants must have a valid bank account to facilitate payroll processing. The work schedule typically spans Sunday through Thursday from 7 pm to 2 am, and Fridays and Saturdays from 7 pm to 12 am, with a requirement to work at least two weekends per month. Shift durations range from five to seven hours per night depending on the route and pace. Weekly hours average between twenty-five and thirty-five but can extend up to five shifts per week depending on availability and performance. This flexibility enables dedicated employees to increase their earning potential through additional shifts.

As a District Porter at CCS, individuals must possess critical job skills and attributes, including the ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to fifty pounds, climb stairs, and work efficiently in various weather conditions without assistance. A smartphone with an active data plan is essential for route communication and task verification purposes. Additionally, having at least five years of clean driving experience is required to be eligible for driving a company truck. The role demands a positive, dependable work ethic, and a commitment to providing high-quality, professional service with integrity. Overall, the District Porter position at Community Concierge Services offers a meaningful, flexible work opportunity in a growing company dedicated to improving apartment community living standards through reliable doorstep sanitation services.
