Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- able to obtain top secret clearance
- three years experience in administrative merchandising technical services vending retail or related field
- four years specialized experience in store or vending operations management or merchandise buying
- skill in management and supervisory roles
- ability to follow corporate and district policies
- proficient in vending software systems
- strong problem-solving skills
- effective communication abilities
- ability to work full-time (35+ hours)
Job Qualifications
- Three years experience in administrative merchandising technical services vending retail or other responsible work
- four years experience in store or vending operational management or merchandise buying
- knowledge of management administration merchandising and procurement practices
- skill in interpersonal relations and mature judgment
- familiarity with vending software systems
- ability to train and supervise staff
- understanding of safety sanitation food handling and internal controls
- ability to analyze financial and operational data
- knowledge of EEO policies and compliance
Job Duties
- Monitor and maximize operational performance
- develop financial projections and analyze vending system reports
- initiate corrective actions as necessary
- work under general supervision to set priorities and objectives
- follow corporate guidance from NEXCOM
- assist with implementation of day-to-day operations and recommendations
- solicit new locations for vending machines or micro markets
- train vending supervisors and managers
- manage subordinate staff including performance evaluations and training
- coordinate product and equipment training
- maintain adequate product supplies and secure products, cash, and equipment
- perform semi-annual vending change fund audits
- conduct monthly financial performance reviews and field operations inspections
- ensure compliance with all operating procedures and departmental efficiencies
- assess efficiency and integrity of functions focusing on high-risk areas
- manage distribution and inventory accounting for regional products
- oversee vending distribution center operations
- ensure compliance with theft, error, cash handling, and inventory policies
- collaborate with Code S to resolve issues
- train associates in customer service and organizational skills
- assist with vending software system navigation and inventory procedures
- review vending reports and prepare operating summaries
- manage vending equipment maintenance and asset audits
- analyze contract or micro market operations for optimal benefits
- oversee micro markets including customer service and fresh food programs
- stay updated on industry trends and benchmark practices
- supervise assigned personnel and manage staffing
- implement NEXCOM policies and procedures
- ensure safety, sanitation, and security compliance
- support and communicate EEO policies
- perform other related duties as assigned
