The role of District Manager for the Minnesota market is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations within the district. As the company establishes its presence in the Twin Cities area, this role offers a unique opportunity to build a thriving market from the ground up. The District Manager will be instrumental in shaping the culture, leading and developing store teams, and driving operational and financial success. This includes direct oversight of stores' daily functions, sales growth initiatives, adherence to company standards, and staff training and development.
This full-time position offers a competitive base salary starting between $75,000 and $90,000 annually, dependent on experience, along with bonus programs that can add up to $36,000 annually plus a long-term incentive bonus. As a key player in Mo' Bettahs' expansion efforts, the District Manager will manage several locations, ensuring top-tier customer experiences, enforcing company and regulatory standards, optimizing profitability, and fostering a positive work environment for all staff.
Further, the role demands strong multi-unit management experience within the restaurant or retail sectors, coupled with robust leadership abilities, operational expertise, and a passion for building high-performing teams. The District Manager will also be expected to maintain frequent store visits to audit and assess operations while supporting the growth and career progression of Store Managers and their teams. Job Requirements
- 3+ years of restaurant leadership experience with at least 2 years of multi-unit leadership experience
- Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring a team
- Proven track record of developing people and growing sales as a multi-unit leader
- Enthusiastic positive and driven
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable to new processes and systems
- Valid driver's license
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a multi-unit management role within the restaurant or retail industry
- Demonstrated expertise in leadership with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams
- Strong understanding of operations management principles and best practices
- Extensive experience in restaurant management and or retail store operations
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and implement effective sales management strategies
- Proficiency in team management including recruitment performance management and conflict resolution
- Experience in designing and delivering training and development programs
- Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions
- Bachelor's degree in business administration hospitality management or a related field preferred
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned district as required
Job Duties
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to Store Managers and their teams fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee all aspects of operations management for the district ensuring efficient and effective daily operations inventory control and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Implement and maintain high standards of restaurant management including food quality sanitation customer service and overall store appearance
- Ensure excellence in retail store operations including merchandising product availability and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales growth targets across the district
- Manage and monitor district-wide sales management activities analyzing performance data identifying trends and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Direct and empower team management efforts including recruitment hiring scheduling performance evaluations and disciplinary actions for Store Managers
- Lead and facilitate comprehensive training and development programs for Store Managers and their teams to enhance skills improve performance and support career progression
- Conduct regular store visits audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational excellence
- Manage district budgets control costs and optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with all company policies federal state and local regulations
