Job Description

Habit Burger & Grill is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain that has carved a unique niche in the competitive dining industry. Founded in 1969, this brand is built on the core values represented by the acronym HABIT: Hospitality, Attitude, Be Your Best, Integrity, and Teamwork. Over the years, Habit Burger & Grill has become synonymous with high-quality, made-to-order chargrilled burgers using USDA choice tenderloin beef, as well as a variety of expertly crafted sandwiches featuring grilled chicken and sushi-grade Ahi tuna. These offerings are complemented by fresh-cut salads, flavorful sides, shakes, and malts, all crafted to deliver a superior guest experience.

The company has consistently been recognized for its excellence, having been named "America's Favorite Restaurant Chains" in 2022 by Newsweek and earning the Franchise Times Zor Award for "Top Franchise to Buy" in the quick service burger category. Now part of the globally recognized Yum Brands family, which also operates Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut, Habit Burger & Grill benefits from a vast network of resources and industry expertise.

The role of District Manager at Habit Burger & Grill is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of six to eight restaurant locations. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and operational efficiency are met consistently. As a District Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Operations, serving as a vital link between management teams and company goals.

Key responsibilities include driving sales growth by managing budgets, profit and loss, and operational processes effectively. You are expected to develop talent through coaching, goal setting, and training, thereby fostering a high-performance culture across your district. Ensuring compliance with standard operational procedures and achieving targeted labor hours while maintaining guest satisfaction are also integral aspects of the role.

Beyond operational duties, the District Manager is tasked with resolving guest complaints promptly, promoting genuine hospitality, and actively contributing to new restaurant openings. The position requires excellent communication, time management, and computer skills, with an emphasis on leadership and business development within a multi-unit restaurant environment.

This position demands a hands-on approach during peak operational periods, a commitment to food safety as evidenced by required certifications, and physical stamina for tasks such as lifting and standing for prolonged periods. Habit Burger & Grill offers a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. This role is perfect for seasoned restaurant professionals passionate about leading teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, growth-oriented setting.
