Job Description

Ally Waste is a nationally recognized valet trash and recycling service provider that specializes in servicing apartment communities, student housing, and senior living facilities throughout the United States. With a mission to maintain cleaner communities, enhance resident satisfaction, and ensure the smooth operation of properties, Ally Waste has established itself as a leader in the waste management and recycling industry. The company believes strongly in valuing its employees, fostering a culture of respect, high standards, and continuous growth. Ally Waste’s operational ethos is centered on the conviction that the team on the ground plays a crucial role in making a difference, and they prioritize investment in their workforce accordingly. This focus on people and quality service delivery has fueled their rapid expansion and earned them an excellent reputation in the marketplace.

The District Manager role at Ally Waste is a pivotal position crafted for results-driven leaders who are passionate about operational excellence and team empowerment. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing service delivery across a designated district comprised of multiple apartment communities, ensuring high-quality valet trash and recycling services to each property. The District Manager is responsible for leading and developing a strong team of Service Valets, who carry out the day-to-day service tasks on site. This leadership role requires balancing on-the-ground operations, effective team management, and building trusted relationships with property managers and clients to foster partnership and client satisfaction.

Individuals in this role will find meaningful time spent out in the field, supporting their teams and clients directly, which underscores the practical and customer-focused nature of the position. The District Manager will be expected to recruit, onboard, train, and coach Service Valets, emphasizing accountability, safety procedures, and a high level of performance. Frequent site visits and inspections are a key element of monitoring service quality, safety adherence, and overall operational compliance. This role demands a leader who communicates clearly, manages conflicts efficiently, and proactively resolves operational challenges while prioritizing both client and employee needs.

In addition to overseeing nightly valet trash and recycling services and supporting new community launches, the District Manager maintains operational supplies such as personal protective equipment and containers to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Reporting and documentation duties include completing accurate and timely valet reports and recording activities within company systems and mobile applications.

Ally Waste seeks candidates who exhibit strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, coupled with supervisory experience and a history in field operations, logistics, property management, or similar sectors. The company values leaders who lead by example, take ownership, and foster a reliable, high-performing operation. A valid driver’s license and comfort with operational software tools are also necessary for success in this role.

Ally Waste offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package that supports employees’ health and future financial stability, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and significant opportunities for career growth within a welcoming and expanding company. Joining Ally Waste means becoming part of a company that truly values its people, encourages hard work, and nurtures rapid professional development within a respectful and supportive environment. If you are committed to operational excellence, leadership, and making a tangible impact in the communities you serve, the District Manager position at Ally Waste represents a rewarding career opportunity.
