Job Description
Salted is a pioneering restaurant group that stands as the largest delivery-first operation in the United States. Known for its innovative approach, Salted focuses on crafting better-for-you cuisine that is both accessible and delicious. The company is committed to offering clean-label, plant-driven meals that meet the growing consumer demand for health-conscious, high-quality food options. Salted's mission goes beyond typical dining experiences; it aims to lead the next generation of the restaurant industry by combining sustainability, culinary excellence, and convenience in a hybrid-remote working environment.
Salted's restaurants operate primarily through delivery channels, reaching customers across major Texas cities including Dallas, Austin, and Houston. This strategic focus on delivery-based services aligns with changing consumer preferences and capitalizes on the digital transformation within the foodservice industry. The company values innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to quality, both in the kitchen and in its corporate culture. Employees enjoy a flexible work schedule with a hybrid-remote model that emphasizes work-life balance while supporting strong operational oversight through on-site visits.
The role of District Manager at Salted is crafted for experienced culinary leaders who thrive in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment. This position involves managing the daily operations of multiple kitchen locations, ensuring that each kitchen upholds Salted's high standards for food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. The District Manager will work closely with Regional Directors and Kitchen Managers to hire, train, and develop staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence across all locations. A key part of the role is to ensure compliance with company policies and maintain rigorous standards through regular store visits, audits, and performance assessments.
Financial oversight and operational coaching are central to the District Manager’s responsibilities. This includes analyzing financial performance data, providing actionable recommendations for improvement, and using customer feedback to enhance service standards. The position demands a strong foundation in culinary skills combined with a customer-service mindset and proven leadership in multi-unit kitchen management. Candidates should be prepared to travel extensively within Texas—up to 75 percent of the work week—with occasional out-of-state travel as needed.
Salaries for this full-time role range from $110,000 to $116,000 annually, complemented by period bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package that includes a performance-based bonus program with profit sharing, unlimited paid time off, medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as a 401k plan with employer match. Salted is deeply committed to creating an inclusive team environment and offers accommodations during the hiring process to ensure equal opportunity for all applicants. By joining Salted, you become part of an innovative culinary journey that is shaping the future of the restaurant industry through a commitment to better food, better service, and better work experiences.
