The available position is a pivotal leadership role within the field operations team, often titled District Manager. This role is crucial in leading and supporting multiple restaurant locations and their leadership teams including General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Shift Managers. The primary goal is to elevate guest satisfaction, increase sales, and optimize profitability across the district. As a District Manager at Checkers & Rally's, you will act as a culture creator who inspires and empowers restaurant teams to perform their best and develop professionally. You will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure compliance with company policies and standards, coaching managers on effective shift execution, and analyzing financial reports to implement strategic improvements. The role requires a strategic mindset alongside operational excellence to manage budgets, monitor profit and loss statements, and address labor efficiency and operational challenges proactively. Additionally, you will be actively involved in enhancing guest satisfaction by addressing customer feedback and promoting exceptional service standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Food safety certification
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 4 years of restaurant management experience
- At least 2 years of General Manager experience with P&L responsibility
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related systems
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment

- Microsoft Office Suite and general systems experience required
- 4 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in quick service restaurants
- At least two years of General Manager experience with direct P&L accountability
- QSR experience preferred
- Demonstrates ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Previous District Manager/Multi-Unit Operator experience preferred
Job Duties
- Monitor daily operations of each restaurant within the district to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Collaborate with general restaurant managers to create plans for managing all aspects of profit and loss (P&L) and provide guidance on resolving restaurant-level issues
- Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve profitability
- Review period budget for the district and meet regularly with the team to discuss current budget trends, communicating any variances to the Company Operations Director
- Ensure that company standards for product quality and safety are consistently upheld
- Review guest feedback metrics and work with managers to enhance guest satisfaction by empowering them to address concerns as they arise and coaching them to be proactive
- Oversee and inspect the execution of restaurant cleaning plans and maintenance activities
- Ensure all locations comply with health and safety regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections timely and ensure any issues found are resolved
- Collaborate with the Field Marketing Manager on local marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and drive traffic to restaurants
- Develop and coach managers on running effective shifts, nurturing employee development and fostering engagement within the restaurant and market
- Conduct weekly meetings with General Managers to discuss key business priorities
- Plan ahead with managers to identify, evaluate, and appropriately respond to labor efficiency issues, cash/security concerns, and health department inspections
- Responsible for creating a culture of employee engagement, learning, and development, and for providing constructive feedback
- Promote a culture of exceptional service by modeling best practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing customer feedback mechanisms
