The District Manager position at Wendy's, under the direction of the Market Manager, is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the overall operational practices of 5-7 Wendy’s locations. This includes a broad range of managerial duties spanning staffing, full profit and loss management, training, and development. The District Manager is entrusted with creating and managing budgets effectively, ensuring all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to company policies and health regulations, and taking corrective actions when necessary. They also interview, hire, cross-train, and discipline General Managers and staff to cultivate a high-performing and motivated workforce. Regular visits to assigned stores are mandatory to ensure the quality, cleanliness, and operational standards of each location remain consistently high. Moreover, the District Manager coordinates and reports to senior management, contributing to strategic planning and business growth.

This role demands a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where customer service and operational excellence are paramount. Candidates with a minimum of three years’ experience as a District Manager or MUM Manager, especially within high-volume fast-food or quick-casual concepts, will find this role well-suited to their expertise. Previous experience as a Wendy’s District Manager is highly preferred, though not mandatory. The position requires a willingness to relocate to the Buffalo area, with potential relocation assistance available. Successful candidates demonstrate a proven track record in financial oversight, staffing, customer evaluation indices, food safety compliance, and voice of the customer programs. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities are essential. The role calls for flexibility in working various days and shifts to meet operational demands and satisfaction metrics.

Job Qualifications
