Job Description
Arby’s is a leading name in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry, distinguished by its commitment to quality food, innovation, and outstanding team culture. Founded with a vision to offer an alternative to traditional fast-food options, Arby’s serves a diverse menu that highlights its iconic meats and unique flavors, setting it apart from the competition. The restaurant chain prides itself not only on delivering delicious and fresh food but also on fostering a work environment that prioritizes employee growth, development, and well-being. With numerous locations across the country, Arby’s continually pursues excellence in customer service and operational efficiency to maintain its position as a favorite destination for guests seeking a satisfying dining experience.
The role of District Manager at Arby’s is a critical leadership position designed to oversee multiple restaurant locations within a geographic district. This role bridges the gap between the field teams and the corporate support center, ensuring seamless communication and operational execution. The District Manager is accountable for driving sales growth, enforcing marketing strategies, managing restaurant operations including labor and cost control, and enhancing guest satisfaction. Beyond the focus on profitability, this position is instrumental in developing restaurant management staff, fostering a positive and motivated team culture, and implementing training programs covering safety, quality, and service standards.
In this leadership capacity, District Managers frequently engage with individual restaurants to review daily business performance and provide targeted support where needed. By ensuring effective staffing and scheduling, they help restaurants maintain operational efficiency while adhering to company Core Values centered on friendliness, accuracy, cleanliness, and speed of service. The position requires someone who is proactive, results-driven, and passionate about developing others, as success in this role directly impacts the performance of the dining locations and the overall brand reputation of Arby’s.
Employment with Arby’s as a District Manager comes with a competitive compensation package that includes weekly pay and eligibility for a comprehensive suite of benefits. These benefits support employee health, financial wellness, and long-term career development. Some key highlights include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement plans, and various insurance offerings such as life insurance and disability coverage. Furthermore, Arby’s fosters a culture of continuous learning and recognition, providing employees with opportunities to advance their careers through mentoring programs, tuition benefits, and leadership development. The company also supports work-life balance and personal financial management through programs like flexible spending accounts and an employee assistance program.
Arby’s values diversity and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply, emphasizing that a love for the brand's famous meats is not a prerequisite to join the team. Whether you come with years of experience in quick-service restaurants or are looking to leverage your leadership skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, Arby’s offers a unique and rewarding career path. Joining Arby’s means becoming part of a brand dedicated to being different and better for its guests and employees alike, with a clear focus on creating a workplace that is both challenging and supportive.
