Job Description
Wendy's, a reputable brand of HAZA Group, is seeking a dedicated and experienced District Manager to oversee the operations of multiple Wendy's restaurants. HAZA Group is recognized as one of the largest privately owned restaurant franchisee companies in the United States, with operations that span across 15 states, managing over 460 locations that include both Wendy's and Taco Bell concepts. Known for its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and growth, HAZA Group continues to expand, providing excellent opportunities for career advancement in the food service industry.
Wendy's, as part of this large and successful franchise network, maintains a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fast-food services with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and superior customer experience. The company values leadership that drives operational excellence, team development, and business growth. This role is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a passion for managing multi-unit operations within the fast food or quick casual dining sector.
The District Manager position is a high-impact, full-time role responsible for the overall operational success of 5 to 7 high-volume Wendy's restaurants. Reporting directly to the Director of Area Operations, this role requires a hands-on approach to leadership, ensuring that all restaurants within the district meet or exceed company standards in staffing, training, financial performance, and food safety. The District Manager will oversee all P&L responsibilities, budget creation and management, and enforce strict adherence to food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations.
This role demands strong leadership capabilities for interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining General Managers and staff as needed, ensuring each restaurant functions efficiently and effectively. Regular visits to assigned stores are essential to monitor quality, cleanliness, and operational standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic and demanding environment.
Candidates can expect a competitive base salary that reflects their relevant experience along with a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, a 401k retirement plan, periodic paid bonuses, paid time off, and short and long-term disability plans. Additionally, the role provides a company vehicle, underscoring the travel requirements of the position and the company’s commitment to supporting its leaders in the field.
This role is ideal for an experienced district manager who is results-oriented, customer service focused, and possesses strong analytical and decision-making skills. The position offers an excellent platform for career growth within a fast-growing, respected restaurant franchisee. Working at Wendy’s under the HAZA Group umbrella means being part of a company dedicated to empowering its employees, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering unmatched dining experiences to a broad customer base across the nation.
