Wingstop is a leading restaurant brand that has rapidly grown to become a favorite destination for customers craving fresh, never-faked wings, hand-cut seasoned fries, and a variety of famous sides. Since opening their first franchise location in 1997 and serving one billion wings by 2002, Wingstop has built a reputation for delivering bold, delicious flavors that appeal to flavor enthusiasts worldwide. The company is deeply committed to quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, which positions it as one of the fastest-growing brands in the restaurant industry. Wingstop's mission is not just to serve wings but to offer a complete flavor experience to every guest who walks through their doors. The brand's focus on combining great taste with a positive customer experience has driven its sustained growth and expansion.
The District Manager role at Wingstop is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations within a designated region. This role involves providing strategic direction and operational support to General Managers and their teams to ensure the achievement of both short-term and long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the restaurant industry, and the ability to manage compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA guidelines. The District Manager is instrumental in driving sales, profitability, and high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
In this position, you will partner with General Managers to foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences across all restaurants under your supervision. You will take ownership of business performance by analyzing sales trends and operational metrics, coaching managers on effective business planning, and guiding teams through training and development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cost control measures such as theoretical to actual Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) variance and labor standards to optimize restaurant profitability.
The role demands a hands-on leader who can manage multiple projects with urgency and precision, remain calm and tactful during challenging situations, and exhibit a strong work ethic. A valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to travel between restaurant locations are essential. Physical demands include standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, reaching, handling, twisting, and clear vision and hearing to communicate effectively.
Overall, as a District Manager at Wingstop, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational success and guest satisfaction across your district, supporting the company’s commitment to delivering an unparalleled flavor experience to every customer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team within a thriving foodservice brand that values innovation, quality, and customer service excellence.
