The District Leader position is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations within a designated district. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the District Leader ensures that each restaurant under their supervision operates efficiently, meets financial targets, and adheres to the company’s high standards for guest satisfaction and safety. This role requires a strategic thinker and strong leader who is adept at managing teams, driving business growth, and implementing operational improvements.

As a District Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the performance and success of all restaurants in your district through effective leadership and hands-on management when needed. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance and support to General Managers, conducting regular evaluations of restaurant operations, and spearheading district-wide initiatives to improve sales and profitability. You will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in multi-unit restaurant management or similar operational roles, with proven experience in financial management, staff development, and customer service excellence. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple restaurant locations or similar operations
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, guest service, and financial management
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and reporting tools
  • Ability to travel within the district and outside the district as needed, including overnight travel when required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to restaurant General Managers and management teams
  • Oversee daily operations, including quality control, guest satisfaction, employee performance, and financial results for each restaurant in the district
  • Develop and implement district-wide strategies to drive sales growth, increase profitability, and meet or exceed performance targets
  • Conduct regular visits to each restaurant, assessing operational efficiency, cleanliness, service quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and make data-driven decisions to optimize district performance
  • Train, coach, and develop General Managers to ensure effective leadership and operational execution
  • Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork, communication, accountability, and engagement
  • Provide direct operational leadership and decision-making for restaurants without assigned General Managers
  • Ensure compliance with all brand standards, food safety, sanitation, and company policies
  • Oversee staffing coverage, scheduling continuity, and operational readiness
  • Monitor labor, cost controls, inventory, and financial performance
  • Ensure guest service standards and speed-of-service expectations are met
  • Coordinate interim leadership coverage until a General Manager is hired or assigned
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety, sanitation, and employment practices
  • Manage district budgeting, forecasting, and expense controls to meet financial targets
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute district-specific initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between district operations and corporate leadership, providing updates, feedback, and recommendations
