Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of district executive chef experience managing high-volume, full-service or polished fast-casual restaurants
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work 10 or more hour shifts
- Physical ability to stand, sit, squat, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated success in guest service excellence and P&L management
- Proven leadership skills in selecting and motivating kitchen leaders
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- 2-4 years as a district executive chef managing 4 or more high-volume, full-service or polished fast-casual restaurants
- Proven leadership skills in selecting, training, and coaching kitchen leaders
- Demonstrated success in guest service excellence and P&L management including sales, inventory, variances, and labor tools
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: S. in culinary arts, food services technology or management, or A.S. in culinary arts or culinary certificate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with UltiPro Onboarding & Recruiting, Toast POS, CrunchTime, and Teamworks
- Current ServSafe, Allergen, and ChokeSaver certifications
- Proven experience with New Cafe Opening process
- Established presence and operational experience within Tri-State market
- Reliable personal transportation for multi-location travel
Job Duties
- Train all cafe team members including managers, supervisors, and hourly staff in food safety, sanitation, and food quality
- Support building and training teams for new cafe openings
- Build trust through clear and honest communication and feedback
- Partner with district managers to select, develop, and manage kitchen leaders including succession planning
- Maintain food quality standards and ensure recipe adherence
- Oversee the rollout of new savory menu items
- Implement and maintain all cafe kitchen systems
