The role of Territory Sales Manager at Acxion Foodservice is a strategic and dynamic position responsible for managing and expanding an assigned sales territory with an annual volume exceeding $500,000. This position requires leading a dedicated sales team to meet and exceed client sales goals while maintaining positive and productive relationships with distributors and customers. The Territory Sales Manager serves as a vital liaison between Acxion's strategic objectives and the operational needs of its distributors, ensuring alignment and mutual success. This role demands a blend of leadership, sales acumen, and customer service excellence, as the manager will coach daily activities, drive sales initiatives, and oversee the execution of marketing plans.

In this role, the Territory Sales Manager will utilize CRM tools to plan and report on sales activities, aggressively market Acxion’s products to large leverage operators, and manage the marketing execution in collaboration with distributors. The position includes responsibilities such as preparing detailed reports for senior management, coordinating with Regional Sales Assistants to support events and marketing efforts, and maintaining a keen understanding of the competitive landscape to inform strategic actions. The manager will also conduct performance reviews with their team, ensuring that each sales professional is meeting their assigned key performance indicators and professional development milestones.

Furthermore, the role demands strong distributor management skills to address daily operational needs, foster dealer relationships, and introduce new product lines. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • achieve specific KPIs assigned using CRM to plan and properly report daily sales call activities
  • drive company sales by aggressively marketing and presenting client’s product to customers while focusing on maximizing commission opportunities
  • call-on assigned list of large leverage operators setting up sales presentations, building relationships and providing solutions to increase business
  • follow ride-with guidelines, plan and perform sales calls adhering to company standards with clients, distributor sales reps, or independently
  • manage client marketing plans with distributor to maximize sales potential and ensure appropriate marketing activities
  • prepare reports for senior management and clients to provide information regarding sales, business activity and market trends
  • coordinate and work directly with regional sales assistants to prepare for food shows, marketing contracts, program renewals, sales meetings, and customer events
  • focus on competitive situations, communicate information to clients and maintain awareness at distributor and customer levels
  • manage day-to-day activities of sales team, communicate goals and address performance issues
  • conduct formal yearly performance reviews with team members
  • ensure operator specialists report consistently in CRM
  • ensure operator specialists are current with all training and company policies
  • manage annual, bi-annual, quarterly sales numbers and objectives
  • manage daily distributor functions including answering customer phone calls and preparing for meetings
  • build and maintain distributor relationships by analyzing and reacting to needs, introducing new products, and responding to customer concerns
  • prepare and present at sales meetings and training to educate distributor sales teams
  • conduct sales blitzes and competitive conversions to increase sales
  • conduct marketing reviews with distributors and clients to discuss business activity and competition
