The Distribution Manager role is a hands-on leadership position focused on driving warehouse operations with a strong emphasis on coaching, operational excellence, and team development. This role offers a competitive salary range from $200,000 to $275,000 per year, reflective of the high level of responsibility and impact within the organization. As a Distribution Manager at Uline’s Irving location, you will lead by example, working directly on the warehouse floor alongside employees to ensure a high level of accuracy, productivity, and safety. This position commands direct oversight of all day-to-day warehouse functions, including inbound, outbound, and support departments, spanning a workforce of over 500 employees.

An essential component of this role is coaching and developing warehouse managers through daily feedback and hands-on leadership. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence by enforcing accountability and implementing continuous improvements. The role demands a leader adept at investigating and resolving operational challenges by applying data-driven solutions to enhance warehouse performance. The Distribution Manager is responsible for maintaining and advancing industry-leading customer service levels and guaranteeing same-day shipping standards.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and more than seven years of leadership experience in high-volume distribution operations, with proven success leading teams of 400 or more employees. Strong expertise in utilizing KPIs, performance metrics, and warehouse management systems (WMS) is critical to delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and safety. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills are required to thrive in this fast-paced environment.
