As Distribution Engineering Supervisor, the incumbent will lead project planning, design package development, and quality assurance activities while maintaining schedules, budgets, and client communications. Responsibilities include engineering calculations, design reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with permitting agencies and multiple stakeholders. The position demands a balance of office and fieldwork, including site visits and customer meetings requiring up to 15-25% travel. There is a strong emphasis on compliance with safety and quality standards and delivering exceptional project outcomes.

This role demands a candidate with a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, civil, or industrial) from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent experience. Candidates must have at least 4 years of relevant engineering experience, proficiency in design software (MicroStation or AutoCAD), and distribution design tools such as O-Calc and SAG10. Experience with NESC standards, ESRI, GIS, and additional tools like Bluebeam, BOUD, Pole Foreman, or Spida-Calc are advantageous. Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and leadership capability are essential.

Leidos incentivizes relocation with a competitive package and offers a work environment characterized by flexible hours and a fast-paced culture driven by innovation. Career development is actively encouraged through professional engineering licensing, project management certification, mentorship programs, and leadership training.

The pay range for this position is $73,450 to $132,775 annually, reflecting the candidate's experience, education, and skills, with additional benefits including health programs, income protection, paid leave, and retirement plans.
