With a nationwide network of distribution centers and retail stores, the company is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and value through expert knowledge and a wide product array. Floor & Decor fosters a dynamic, inclusive workplace culture that emphasizes growth opportunities, innovation, and collaboration for its employees.
The Receptionist position at the Floor & Decor Distribution Center plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for visitors, associates, and customers entering the facility. This role is an excellent fit for individuals who excel in customer service and administrative support within a fast-paced environment. The position is responsible for managing front desk operations including greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, distributing mail, ordering office supplies, and maintaining overall office appearance and security. With a pay range of $18.50 to $24.00 per hour, this role supports the broader efforts of the distribution center to ensure seamless operations and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
This receptionist role requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, professional telephone etiquette, and the ability to multi-task effectively while managing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The ability to adapt quickly, work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain attention to detail in a busy setting is essential.
In addition to front desk management, the receptionist will coordinate the scheduling and setup of conference rooms, assist with event preparation (such as catering and seating arrangement), and oversee security protocols by ensuring visitor check-in compliance. The position also involves liaising with vendors, managing office supplies, and supporting miscellaneous clerical duties to promote operational efficiency. The role demands professionalism, integrity, and a proactive attitude to contribute to the smooth functioning of the Distribution Center's administrative activities.
Floor & Decor supports its associates with robust benefit offerings aimed at balancing professional and personal life. Benefits include bonus opportunities, career advancement paths, financial planning programs such as 401k with company match, stock purchase plans, and referral bonuses. Comprehensive insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans subject to eligibility. The company also prioritizes work-life balance with paid vacation, sick leave, holidays including a personal holiday, and paid volunteer time off available from day one.
Floor & Decor practices equal employment opportunity policies, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce free from discrimination based on legally protected statuses. This commitment extends to all aspects of employment, emphasizing fair treatment and respect to all associates and applicants. Overall, the Receptionist role offers an inviting opportunity to contribute to a well-established company with a strong reputation for quality and employee support.
