This role within CVS Health is a full-time Warehouse Operations Supervisor position located onsite in Knoxville, TN. The position requires working the first shift Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with some flexibility. The typical pay range for this role is $43,888 to $76,500 annually, depending on experience, education, geography, and other factors. In addition to base pay, the position is eligible for various bonus, commission, or short-term incentives offered by CVS Health.
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will directly oversee warehouse employees, managing the workflow and leading the team to meet and exceed daily operational targets. This position is pivotal in coordinating distribution area processes for smooth, efficient warehouse performance. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day work operations, conducting performance appraisals, analyzing operational reports, and assisting operations management with continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor plays a key leadership role in enhancing the warehouse culture of excellence and innovation, ensuring that tasks are prioritized and executed effectively.
The ideal candidate possesses at least three years of logistics experience, with a minimum of two years in a people leadership role. Prior supervisory experience, knowledge of warehouse or distribution center operations, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, collaboration and teamwork abilities, and an agile growth mindset. A verifiable high school diploma or GED is required.

Job Duties
- Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure delivery of consistent work products
- executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area to enhance culture of excellence and innovation
- manages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded
- conducts performance appraisals using reports and procedures to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency
- analyzes reports and provides recommendations to operations manager on best practices
- coordinates processes and assignments within the warehouse to achieve balanced workload and meet operational metrics
- defines task terms and establishes priorities to meet operational success
- manages team performance with regular feedback and formal reviews to ensure exceptional service and team development
