The available position is for a Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Instructor supporting the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (ISRW) at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. This pivotal role involves providing expert instructional support that enables the 480 ISRW to successfully achieve its intelligence training mission, especially by integrating evolving courseware design methodologies and advanced information technologies. The instructor will play a critical role in adapting training content to align with the dynamic operational concepts of the Distributed Common Ground System and its Analysis and Exploitation Teams (AET). Responsibilities include delivering academic instruction, administering various performance and written evaluations, and conducting hands-on lab exercises that give students realistic, operationally relevant training. Additionally, the instructor will contribute to course content development, scenario creation for active learning environments, and ensuring instructional materials meet rigorous quality assurance standards. The successful candidate must possess an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance and bring at least four years of relevant experience within Air Force intelligence operations and distributed ground system environments. A deep understanding of intelligence processes, multi-intelligence exploitation, and analytic techniques is crucial. The job also demands strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Learning Management System technologies.
