The Cook is responsible for preparing Hot Choice Buffet products, including carving and display cooking items, strictly adhering to Golden Corral's recipes and procedures. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have previous experience in a cooking or food preparation role
- Knowledge of local health department laws and food safety regulations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Capability to follow detailed recipes and production guides
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Must be able to communicate courteously and professionally with guests
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products including carving and display cooking items according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures
- Grills all items to meet Golden Corral standards ensuring quality
- Ensures all fried products are fresh and hot
- Restocks buffet items at the Display Cooking Station when the Buffet Attendant is unavailable
- Assists guests with carved meat options if the Carver is unavailable
- Uses the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance
- Maintains correct temperature of all products during cooking holding and serving
