As part of the larger Genuine Parts Company, NAPA Auto Parts benefits from a rich heritage and a strong presence in the automotive aftermarket industry.
The role of Dispatcher/Order Puller at NAPA Auto Parts represents a critical position within the supply chain and inventory management. This position is ideal for a skilled, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team dedicated to operational excellence. The Dispatcher/Order Puller will be responsible for handling a variety of duties including breaking down incoming shipments, distributing products to other stores, stocking shelves, and managing order pull logistics. This position ensures that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered promptly, which is essential to maintaining NAPA Auto Parts’ reputation for reliability and timely service.
The Dispatcher/Order Puller plays a significant role in warehouse operations, including staging products on pallets, shrink-wrapping goods to prevent loss or damage, and loading shipments onto trucks in an efficient and safe manner. Beyond these core tasks, this role also involves supervising the delivery team to ensure smooth coordination and timely execution of deliveries. The Dispatcher/Order Puller must also assist with inventory control, maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and operational efficiency. Occasional responsibilities may include filling in for customer deliveries and supporting other store locations as assigned by management.
Candidates for this position should be physically fit, able to lift up to 60 pounds, and comfortable maneuvering heavy equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks. Strong attention to detail is required to accurately recognize and remember part numbers and line codes to ensure order accuracy. This role demands excellent communication skills, both for interacting with team members and reporting to the Store Manager regarding delivery performance. Basic computer skills are necessary to support inventory management and order tracking systems. The Dispatcher/Order Puller must adhere strictly to safety procedures and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
NAPA Auto Parts values team-oriented individuals who demonstrate reliability, stamina, and a willingness to take on diverse warehouse responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow professionally within a reputable company that supports career advancement through ongoing training and skill development.
