The Bell and Valet Cast Member role at Aulani is a vital position responsible for enhancing the guest experience by providing excellent vehicle and luggage assistance. This role involves managing guest vehicles, including parking, driving, and coordinating transportation for arriving and departing guests. The position requires dedicated service during various shifts, including the possibility of combined duties during third shifts. Cast Members in this role are expected to greet guests with a positive and helpful attitude, manage parking areas efficiently by directing traffic and using barricades, and transport guests and their luggage to various locations throughout the resort. Additional responsibilities include delivering guest items such as newspapers, flowers, packages, and facilitating express check-outs. Effective communication skills and a commitment to high guest service standards are essential for success in this role. The position offers competitive pay starting at $21.26 per hour plus gratuities, with full-time availability needed across all days of the week—including weekends and holidays. Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with no tickets, accidents, or moving violations in the past 12 months for valet position
- ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather including extreme temperatures and high humidity
- full availability seven days a week including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred
- previous experience working in a parking facility or similar service preferred
- knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- positive guest service orientation
