Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- must be able to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and move heavy kitchen equipment and utensils
- must be available to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- basic understanding of food safety standards
- strong communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow instructions and work under stress
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- flexibility to work in different shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- positive attitude and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
Job Duties
- work in a high-energy kitchen environment supporting the culinary team in their food preparation and service
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen utensils dishes and equipment
- operate dishwashing machinery and ensure proper handling and storage of cleaned items
- assist with basic food prep tasks such as peeling chopping and portioning ingredients
- follow safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
- exhibit a positive attitude strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow
