Warner Bros. Studios is currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join their Food Services department within Studio Operations. This role is essential in supporting the smooth functioning of the studio's catering and food preparation services, ensuring that all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and maintained. The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining hygiene standards by handling dishes efficiently and sanitizing food preparation areas, thereby contributing to the overall health and safety of the studio workforce. The Dishwasher’s responsibilities encompass scrapping, rinsing, and loading soiled dishware, pots, pans, and flatware into appropriate dishwasher racks. After cleaning, dishes must be unloaded and stored correctly to maintain order and readiness for future use. The role also involves managing the disposal of dishwasher residue and regularly sanitizing food prep surfaces to meet cleanliness and safety standards. Additional duties include operating oil recycling equipment for fried foods and using a golf cart for efficient transportation of kitchen items between productions and the Commissary.

WBD values flexibility, as the standard work shift ranges from 4.5 to 7.5 hours, with a 30-minute paid meal break when working six or more hours. The position requires availability for varied scheduling, including weekends and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of studio productions. Physical stamina is important for this role, given the demands of standing long periods, bending, lifting heavy weights (over 50 pounds), and performing other physical tasks involved in kitchen and catering maintenance.
