Their clients include some of the most influential and highest attended arenas, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions worldwide. OVG's commitment to excellence and innovation has made it a dominant force in the sports and live entertainment landscape. The company is known for its dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences, leveraging advanced technology, and fostering sustainable operations in its venues.

Jungle Island, located in Miami, Florida, is a premier entertainment destination managed by Oak View Group. It uniquely combines Miami's tropical beauty with a sprawling jungle environment hosting extraordinary animals from around the world. With an 80-year rich history evolving into a contemporary theme park, Jungle Island features a remarkable collection of wildlife such as lemurs, wallabies, and capybaras amid exotic flora like the African sausage tree and rare cycads. Visitors enjoy winding trails and interactive exhibits, making Jungle Island one of Miami’s most vibrant and unique cultural and recreational venues.

The role of a Dishwasher at Oak View Group, specifically for operations at Jungle Island, is crucial to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and sanitation essential for the success of the venue’s food and beverage services. The Dishwasher is responsible for the sanitation of all kitchen equipment, cookware, utensils, dishware, glassware, and silverware, ensuring these items meet stringent hygiene requirements. The position also involves maintaining the cleanliness of all back-of-house areas, including floors, walls, shelving, and kitchen equipment, contributing significantly to a safe and efficient working environment.

This role is hourly paid, ranging from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, offering part-time employment with valuable benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and employer matching contributions, even for part-time staff. Furthermore, the dishwasher is expected to support broader kitchen and event operations by assisting in equipment staging, food production line support, and waste disposal throughout event setup, execution, and cleanup stages. Success in this role demands composure and adaptability in a fast-paced, event-driven atmosphere, alongside a proactive and collaborative attitude that helps drive teamwork and the overall success of live events at Jungle Island.
