The role of Dishwasher at Ascent Hospitality is a key position within the Food and Beverage department. Job Requirements

  • Ability to understand, and speak basic English, to effectively take direction and communicate with management and other team members
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding, in carrying out instructions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • ability to multi-task, including pushing and pulling objects and carts of varying weights without assistance
  • ability to remain active in a fast paced environment, including standing for 8+ hour per day
  • flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Deliver clean cookware and tableware to various outlets and meeting rooms
  • clean all cookware and tableware to meet hotel and Health and Safety Standards
  • maintain cleanliness and safety standards by ensuring floors and equipment are clean and arranged according to Food and Beverage specifications
  • separate all silverware and return to proper area
  • ensure all glasses are placed in proper glass racks and returned to proper area
  • ensure pots, pans, and china storage racks are cleaned, organized and properly stored
  • remove trash, and clean trash cans daily
  • sweep and mop floors in dish area throughout shift
  • clear and clean all Queen Marys after banquet functions
  • stock clean plates and sauté pans on the line for service
  • break down and deep clean dish machine (inside and out)
  • check hot boxes (clean as needed)
  • de-lime dish machine (as directed and per schedule)
  • remove and clean dishes from server area (AM and PM shifts)
  • perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager
  • perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/manager
