- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work part-time in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to learn and follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive cleaning tasks
- availability to work in person during scheduled shifts
- reliable transportation to work location
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- familiarity with kitchen equipment, cleaning procedures, or hotel food service operations is a plus
- experience with bussing tables or assisting in catering events is advantageous
- previous roles involving food handling or culinary tasks demonstrate ability to follow safety standards effectively
- strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude
Job Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning techniques to meet health standards
- maintain cleanliness of grills, cooking stations, and food prep areas to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision
- support the catering team by cleaning serving ware and assisting with setup or breakdown of banquet events
- follow all food handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols diligently
- organize dishware and kitchen supplies for easy access by culinary staff
- contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining a clean workspace and supporting colleagues during busy service hours
