Job Requirements
- You must be 16 years of age or older
- standing for most tasks
- ability to walk short distances
- able to sit for paperwork tasks
- capable of lifting cases up to 50 pounds
- able to carry items such as large cans, pizza sauce and trays of pizza dough
- able to push and pull dollies with trays
- occasionally able to climb stairs or ladder
- able to stoop, bend, crouch, squat
- able to reach continuously up, down and forward
- able to perceive depth and differentiate hot and cold surfaces
- able to perform repetitive tasks and work under stress
Job Qualifications
- Basic verbal, writing and communication skills
- ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- ability to prepare food items as requested
- ability to set up and run the dishwashing operation, keeping the dishwasher clean and free of debris
- ability to maintain all necessary temperature, sanitation equipment, and cleaning logs
- ability to ensure hand sink is clean and stocked, e.g., replace paper towel, hand-soap
Job Duties
- Operate all equipment
- stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- prepare product
- take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- ensure kitchen area and equipment are clean and sanitized, including removal of garbage when necessary
- assist with dining room service when needed, e.g., readying customer’s order
